very easy to install. Good quality

Good so far
I have never had the forward assist go out on me in 30 years of carrying an M4, until now. The pin that held the forward assist assembly together had sheered off, apparently from very hard use. Glad it happened while practicing. I could only get the bolt to move forward and backwards about an inch, and there was absolutely no other way to fix it other than breaking the rifle down with tools. Bought an extra one for just in case.

Very good value, works and looks fine
Frequently I need to have available one of these for times only stripped upper available. Luth-AR products like this seem bomb proof, good quality and give me no concern or hesitation to use. Finish and fit were mil-spec and unless you want to spend more for a fancier F.A., this is good for the money and I plan to buy more when needed. FWIW, I checked out Luth-AR at the NRA meeting in Dallas and was impressed by many items they offered, and their service response. I just had not needed much from them until recently and quality still seems as good as first experience. No compensation was offered or requested for my opinion.

I used it to finish an upper assembly build. Everything went together smoothly. Seemed like a high quality product.

Works
Works perfect in my aero m5 308 upper. No need for the roll pin . The Allen screw came with the upper.not much more to say for a forward assist . It's nothing fancy but it works .for something I never use anyway on my gun it's good enough.

Did not work in BRN-4 build
After running the roll pin through the upper, this forward assist would not move until being pryed from the forward assist bore. It could be pushed back and forth eventually, after really trying to tear it out of the receiver, but never became usable I suspect the track for the roll pin wasn't machined low enough. It was chewed up pretty bad from all the rough handling post-install. Replaced with a different brand, that one works perfectly, so doubts are my receiver was made wrong either. Cheap part, so no tears shed, but still a shame

Brn-4 Problems
I could not get this to work in my BRN-4 upper, despite trying to file away a section of the channel. Going to try with a different brand before I contact brownells.
