Easy to install.

Great design, making it easier to install the dust cover on an M4/AR-15 style weapon system. The cover spring still has to be wound up in order for the dust cover tension in order for the part to work properly, but it's very easy to do.

Aero / PSA upper issue resolved

Bought one of these for my 300 Blackout pistol and was really disappointed that it would not close! Took a deep dive at it and found the over-molded seal was hitting the edge of the opening on my upper. After grinding the over-molded edge off clean with a Dremel, it fits flat and looks great. I figure the seal is as good as any steel piece and this looks great! Hope this saves someone a bit of work in the future...

Great Dust Cover

Bought 2 of these for my standard Aero Precision M4E1 upper receivers. Didnt have any fitting issue with either uppers and didnt have to modify them, they were super easy to install and look fantastic. Would highly recommend these as an upgrade for your upper!

Looks great, lightweight easy install

I have had some metal dust covers that are a real pain to install. That is not the case with this dust cover from Strike Industries. I love the look, the fit and finish is perfect and I knew it would be light. It is all of those things, but the best thing is how easy it is to install! I used some needle nose vise grip to pull back the short end of the spring and snapped the dust over in. The bar is spring loaded, so no little c-clips to deal with. The short end of the cover spring is bent so you have more spring against the receiver and the bent end made a great "handle" to hold the spring in place. This is the only dust cover I will ever use again. I love it and highly recommend it if for nothing else, the ingenious and easy way it installs!

FDE Perfect Match With Aero Precision

I needed a dust cover for a build. My intentions for this was to update a FDE upper while reusing the steel door for separate black upper. I'll just go with SI from here on out. FDE color matched perfectly with Aero Precision FDE upper. Come to find out Aero Precision deletes the need for the C washer. I like this so much I will simply get a black SI dust cover vs reusing old one. Bottom Line is it Looks great*Seals the breach tighter* Super easy instal* Adjustable detent allows to increase/decrease door tension* Lighter* Wont rust, show wear, or glare

Looks Great

This looks great installed. I've gotten many compliments on it. Its very quick to install, old one took some time to remove. I like how you can adjust how much tension is on the cover. It seals up really well. I ordered one in black and one in FDE.

A really good dustcover!

A.R. 15 dustcover one of my favorite features of this is how easy it is to install compared to a standard dust cover. And there really is no downside that I found after a few months.
