I bought these from another source. I used Metal-form magazines and Brownells magazines in the past. I would have about once every other magazine a failure to feed with the round pointing nose up in those magazines. I was using only FMJ all of these times. I finally tried one of these C-product mags. The one thing to note is these C-product mags have 2 ribs / indents on the side of the magazine near the feed lips that are the same length where as the other mags have 2 ribs one being shorter than the other. These 2 ribs of equal length on the C-products mags appear to keep the rear of the top round in the magazine more stable in a "ready to feed" position. I have put about 1,500 rounds down range between 4 of these magazines with no malfunctions. I have no idea how well these will run JHP although If you used a narrow nosed hollow point profile like a 115gr XTP your will likely help your odds for feeding. If you are running a Colt style AR-9 these work very well as long as you have also done the other steps in your build like using a very heavy buffer with internal sliding weights (Kak industries), also a heavy recoil spring and even a heavy hammer spring if you are running Nato Pressure ammo. Remember you want to do everything you can to slow down the bolt on these builds as they are direct blow back with no locking lugs. These magazines were the finishing touch I needed to make my AR-9 build run 100% My AR-9 is a Range favorite for plinking as I can shoot steel plates closer also I am getting about 1450 fps out of a 16 inch barrel with 124 FMJ hand-loads. What is not to love. These are the only magazines I would recommend if you are doing a AR-9 Build using the classic "COLT Style" stick mags.
