Molded polymer cheek riser snaps onto Magpul CTR, MOE, DT and PR carbine buttstocks to provide added support and ensure correct eye alignment with open sights or optics for fast target acquisition. Creates a stable platform for accurate, long-range shooting. Three models let you to raise the cheekweld by ¼", ½", or ¾" for a personalized fit. No stock modification required.

Designed for non-AR installations of CTR/MOE stocks. Originally designed for M14 carbine stock conversions.

Stir your imagination

Magpul makes a great product-no question about that. Their cheek risers are made specifically for their CTR/MOE stocks. However, with a little bit of imagination it will also adapt other brands like the Hera Arms buttstock. A JB weld plastic glue is all you need to bond the riser to the top of the Hera Arms buttstock. The 2-tone OD green and black combination is aesthetically pleasing and the added 1/4" height of the riser to the stock is just about perfect for most application. Highly recommended.

Best all around cheek riser for MOE/CTR

I have all three sizes of Magpul cheek risers and found the 1/4" size the most versatile. The slight elevation works perfectly with BUIS sights as well as low mounted optics on flat top AR or AR22's. The higher risers will not allow the use of BUIS sights and are best left for high mounted optics. The snap-on assembly feature is good and does lock the riser solid to the stock. However, to separate it from the stock will require a tool to pry it out on its connecting points. I'd prefer a push button lock or lever type locking mechanism for this purpose. The black plastic adds great accent to two-tone accents combining it with OD green, Dark Earth or Foliage green stocks matched with two-tone pistol grips such as the MIAD and CAA UPG16 pistol grips utilizing interchangeable inserts. It does'nt get any better than this.
