Every time I open this book, I can hear anti-gun folks cry in agony. Why does this happen? Because this book is an excellent guide and reference for constructing your very own modern-day musket. Keep freedom alive!

This has all the details you can ask for. Several great tips and tricks with pictures for reference. It's a perfect book for the beginner.
The most "Must Have" book on the AR-15/M
Awsome Book - excellent illustrations - above and beyond others with the "Checks, Notes, Pitfalls, Secrets, Tests, Tips, Tricks" notations. Excellent as a reference manual to have on and off the range. I like book form as it is easier to go back and reference diferent procedures and find problem solutions. Excellently written. Do not have one- get one, you will not be disappointed.
THE REAL DEAL
Went to a gun show ,asked a book dealer there what he had on ar 15 builds and he said this book poeple swear by it . I bougut the book and read it over and over until I was ready to build ,since then I am on rifle 11. Yes this book is all you need ,wish it came out 25 years ago.
AR's for Dummies
I built 2 AR's with this book. I also have the M-14 owners guide and the 1911 owners guide by these guys. Plenty of pictures Tips are indispensable Breaks it down Barney Style for those with less experience.

Very good instructions
I used this to install an aftermarket trigger in an S&W AR-15. This instructions in the book were very clear, complete, and adequately detailed even for my novice experience level. There are lots of tips along the lines of "watch out for that little spring that will pop out unexpectedly". The author clearly has plenty of experience at this!
To Easy
If you can't build an AR15 from the ground up with this book you might want to give up building ARs. This book is a total step by step guide with tones of photos. It is an invaluable book to have in your library.
