Excellent upper mated with....

16" 1-7 twist non chromed barrel. Rear Picatinny rail with 80s British Single Point sight. Pinned FSB. Roger's Super-Stoc collapsible. Perfect fit a Noreen lower

Price point compared and quality great

I just purchased a FN M-16 retro military rifle and comparing the two uppers, the Aero is much lighter and looks almost the same. I would highly recommend Areo as an excellent choice for this style.

Really nice barrel

When I opened the package, I put my borescope into the barrel. I was pleasantly surprised to see really smooth, shinny rifling - - and a gas port completely in a groove. The hole was not centered in the groove, but it did not cut into the land. I wish more manufacturers knew how to make such pretty rifling. The bore did not appear to be chrome plated - - better for accuracy but worse for wear and corrosion resistance.

Aero Precision AR-15 upper

First thanks to Brownells, fast shipping, packaged with care. Other than that Aero Precision products are top notch, especially when on sale.

Needs H3 buffer

I have been running the one i bought at brownells for a few months over 500 rounds. I can get 1.5 moa with certain ammo. that is good for a non floated barrel. I did right away start off with an H3 buffer. Brass ejects between 2 and 3 o'clock. Before my H3 buffer came in. I ran a full rifle stock. that also worked well. i dunno what it does with a standard buffer. But I RELOAD and my brass has been perfect through 5 loading's so far.

Can't beat it

Quality fit and finish are excellent. The price point on this upper is an exceptional value. I have owned everything from PSA to BCM and Daniel Defense and I Am a true Believer and you get what you pay for. In the case with this Aero Precision upper I believe I got more than I paid for.
