Great Safety
I have tried a lot of safeties and I like this one. It feels good and functions properly.

Great Ambi Selector with Positive Clicks
Worth the price. Very easy to install and functions flawlessly. Has a very loud and satisfying click when operating. It is a must have for lefties or those who like to operate the safety from the right side of the receiver.

Well built
A well built addition to any rifle. Ive installed this in three different rifle lowers and it eliminates much of the slop caused by the inevitable variations in tolerances in different selectors and lowers. It also spares the bank versus a full CNC selector. This selector is so positive that I had to spend some time working it back and forth and repeatedly oiling it to get the parts aquatinted with each other. Going forward all my serious rifle builds will use this selector.

Very Positive Engagement
Installed this in my self defense AR because of the advertised positive snap and it does just that. VERY positive engagement with nothing left to the imagination. Its a little stiff on the first few cycles so be sure to use quality oil and work it back and forth several times after install. My only gripe is I wish geissele would not put thread locker on the right side from the factory and attach the two pieces. Quality you expect from Geissele and this one does not disappoint.

Better than mil spec
Engaging the safety is extremely postitive. The safety is smooth when it turns but actually a bit harder to actuate than I thought. Not a bad thing at all, just requires more force than I would have liked to put it off safety to shoot. It’s probably safer that it does require a bit of a conscious effort to actuate, I feel like it won’t accidentally flip if rubbed on my gear. I do feel like it’s a good upgrade from your basic mil spec safety selector. The ambidextrous feature is nice but I’m not sure how useful it really is, the non dominant side that I don’t use is really nubby and not super pleasant to use. But it’s there and is nice for precision shooting I guess.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

If you are a lefty, keep looking
Ok, I waited about a year for this safety. Finally got it, great. Im left handed and want to wrap my left hand around the grip without being gouged by the safety. Not going to help one bit with this safety. In fact, I dont even know why they made it. If they would have put the stubby switch on the left and the longer switch on the right, that would have worked perfectly for me. Sadly they put the stubby side on the right -the side I wanted to use my left thumb to activate the safety. Two stars because you get a positive click. More than I can say for the Stag left hand safety. Still looking.

Way Too Tight & Too Loud
I had high expectations for this gucci brand and I am disappointed. This lever takes massive effort to move. The short side is almost impossible to move at all. On top of all that, the unit makes a VERY loud clack. This will be going into the junk parts box for the apocalypse.
