Looks good!
Great fit and my Sniper Retro scope fits very well. The only drawback is I wish it was little higher, so my fingers fit better when carry.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
AR-15 carrying handle and sight
Very convenient to carry And A good sight
Good handle
I've bought both cheap and inexpensive carry handles from $40 to this aero $70 and seen a few Colt $140 and I cannot see a difference. This Aero is a Brass Aluminum Forging Enterprises forging and the finish is great, the sight is easy to accuate. So is the Delton version I bought for my sons ar so i would spend your money wisely as neither seem to be any different from the Colt.
A2 Carry Handle
Good product
Great milspec carry handle
The carry handle has a square mark from the forging plant and it is exactly as described. On mine, the barrel dial would not click down into the 6/3 position. This is a common issue with all carry handles and is easily remedied by loosing the 1/16th Allen bolt and rotating the barrel so that the detent is in the correct position (the barrel will move independently of the sight when allen bolt is loose). This is also how one can adjust for an improved zero. To adjust for a improved zero, you rotate the dial 4 clicks past the 6/3 and lock down the detent. You then use the front sight post to sight in the rifle at a 50/200 meter zero. Now you can rotate the dial from 200-600 instead of 300-600. I wonder if the negative reviews are due to the adjustment barrel not aligning with the detents on the 6/3 position but keep in mind that is totally normal and they all made the same way at only a handful of forges.
Good carry handle
I recently acquired a FN M16a4 collector edition. I remember my issued one having a carry handle so I decided to chance this Aero brand carry handle despite the negative review on this site. I got it today and zeroed it without issue. The way I remember tightening this was you loosen the nuts, put it on the upper, push forward on it, hand tighten the screws, then we had this multi tool that had this flat blade that we would crank down just a little, not even 1/5 of a rotation. Doing it that way, the carry handle never loosened and would retain zero throughout. I was able to do that with this carry handle and use it without issue. I do believe with the flat holes one might think you have to use a flat head to tighten it down as tight as you can and that's a great way to snap the threads and have a useless item. So just hand tighten and just tighten it just enough with a tool. With that said, I think you'll enjoy this. Mine has a square forging mark which matches my FN upper.
Great price, well built and solid
I have bought two of these for a A4 build and for M4 build. Both have been spot on and zero’d perfectly. I have a RRA national match carry handle and see no difference other than aperture size and the hash marks for left and right windage. My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the hash marks are light thats it. Other wise this is perfect for my and probably your needs.
Works fine for me
IDK what the other reviewers got. I have one of these installed on my 11.5" and it works great. No issues with it, the adjustment dials are nice and tight. Used it for over 1k rounds with no issue, even when doing tactical drills & running and gunning.
Good product but….
I ordered two of these. Square forging mark The problem was the sight assembly. Both were installed with the adjustment drum short one click. I know how to fix this and did but it was installed improperly. I’ve not had good luck with aero products but I seem to be the only one.
Don’t buy aero imo
I would not buy this carry handle. Get something else. Sight assembly was tilted to the rear. I got two. Exactly the same on both. Finish was good but not great quality assembly.
