What Reviewers Are Saying
Product Quality
60%
Reviewers generally find the product to be of good quality, noting that it functions well for its intended purpose. However, some buyers express concerns about materials and fit, particularly with screws and hardware not matching traditional A1 specifications, which detracts from the overall quality perception.
Fit and Assembly Challenges
50%
Several reviews highlight challenges with fitting the stock and its components. Reviewers mention needing to adjust or file parts for them to fit correctly, suggesting that assembly may require additional effort beyond what is typical for such kits.
Sling Mount Position
30%
A common complaint is the location of the sling mount, which does not align with traditional A1 stocks, leading to frustration among buyers who expect a more authentic design. This issue seems significant enough that some suggest looking for alternative stock options.
Rattling Issues
40%
A frequent critique is that the butt plate rattles, detracting from the product's overall appeal. Some users have found solutions, like adding shims, but this indicates a quality control issue that many expected to be absent in a $100 product.
Value for Money
70%
Customers feel that the kit offers a good overall value for its price. It comes with necessary components like the extension, spring, and buffer, which many buyers find appealing despite the fitting concerns and occasional quality hiccups.

Kinda cheap
I should have listened to the other reviews. It is not military grade like. The trap door is just a one piece plastic molding (anchor, hinge, door, and clip). Buffer, spring, and tube arw good. Overall not bad, just not great, especially for the money.

The only A1 length A2 on the market and it's not great
What braindead starchild thought it would be a great idea to put a slot where the sling mount is? If you want adjustability to your sling position, buy a CAR stock. WHY can't anyone make a simple C7 length A2 stock? I seriously don't get it.

Does the job
Bought this for an A1 clone build, and it's close enough to look the part. Like other reviews have stated, the butt plate door rattles. Like a lot. It was annoying enough that I took it apart and added plastic shims on the hinge to tighten it up a bit. Stock is completely hollow inside, so if you plan on jamming a cleaning kit in there, it's going to flop around and probably be hard to get out. My other gripe is the hardware used on the buttplate. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure hex head socket screws were never used on A1 stocks. Overall, it looks close enough and functions as intended, but if I was building another I'd look elsewhere.

Needs some attention to detail
The stock looks like a solid stock. The fit to the lower is good. My issues are two-fold. 1. The screw to attach the buttpad to the buffer tube was incorrect. Not only was it not the A1 style screw, but it was not even the correct thread. Had to go into my spare parts drawer to find the correct screw. 2. The trapdoor in the buttpad was so poorly fit, that it just rattles when you move the rifle around. Had to add material under the door to take up the slack. I would expect more from a $100 stock. I wanted this stock specifically for the LOP. But was hoping for a little more quality.
