Joke roll pin
Pretty sure I got a joke roll pin, refused to go in. Took significant effort to even get the pin started, and was impossible to drive into the screw hole.
If I would read those reviews and stars...
My sight is tilted about 20 degree. Both of aperture holes are the same size; they are supposed to be different size like the picture above.
Apertures are the same height
The L aperture and the short range aperture are the same height. They are not supposed to be. There is also mold flashing in the aperture.
Horrible
This would have been my third A1 rear sight install. And while they are never fun, I didn’t find my first two anywhere near as bad as people claim they are. But maybe others who warned me in the past were using this brand and model, in which case, their warnings make perfect sense. Nothing was close to having the right tolerance. The flat spring was so widely bent that the wind age screw had zero chance of threading from left to right. The install came to a crashing halt on step one. Steer clear of this brand.
Peep hole messy
Pretty disappointed in the machining. Burr sticking into the hole, and burrs on the adjustment wheel. Not even airsoft quality.
This is absolute trash
This is absolute garbage QC between rear appature being the same the over bent leaf spring so that the adjustment screw wouldnt even fit into the upper without A LOT of downward pressure on the spring and the roll pin that wouldn't even begin to start into the windage adjuster this kit is a waste of money buy from a company with some quality and quality control
Would give zero stars if I could.
Installed this in my C7 clone only to find both apertures are the same. Unfortunately they're the only people who make A1 rear sight assemblies IIRC. Buy a separate aperture when you order.
had to fit to Brownells Retro upper
I bought this to go into my Brownells Retro A1 upper but NONE of the parts fit without fitting. The windage screw didn't fit into the upper or the drum! Lost several roll pins before everything lined up after fitting.
Peep sight not center
L peep sight is not center. From right inner wall to right end has a distance of .112, left inner wall to left end has a distance of .123. The short peep sight has the same problem, not as bad. Peep sight are not center to each other. Missing roll pin as well, had to use a cut paper clip just to see how it looks.
Wish I didn't buy
The leaf spring was way to curved to function in the receiver and broke in half while installing. The peep sight holes are the same size so I just intalled a shim no need to flip it. Very disappointed. Should have read reviews before buying.
