Well made
Exceptionally well made. Works flawlessly but really heavy.. Compared to other brands i have. The only initial complaint i have is the weight. I haven’t shot enough rounds with it to make a feed comparison.

Brownells=Metalform=Colt
Ok, when I got these (3 pak) yesterday I noticed they looked exactly like my Colt mags except for the finish. When I test fit them in the gun they seemed to fit tighter (slightly) but all fell free. I think the Xylan coating was causing this. Later I loaded the mags with 10 dummy rounds each and cycled them. They all three were double feeding and having issues. I was not pleased to say the least. I disassembled the mags, cleaned them, and compared them to my Colt mags. 1st thing I noticed was the spring tension on the Brownell's mags was way stronger than the Colts. So I loaded all my mags up and let them sit over night, this morning I went to the range. All the mags ran like a top, not one issue with a mixed bag of 9mm FMJ, HP, 115, 124, 147. Carbine is a new Colt AR6951

Snug but functioning
As a pretty avid shooter, I built a CMMG Mk9 and selected these magazines based on the previous reviews. Theyre a bit snug and dont drop out unaided and have to be pulled from the mag well. Im sure theyll loosen up with use. I gave it four stars because of it. It could be the mag well is tight, but I havent read that on the CMMG Mk9 reviews. They feed perfectly and I have no feed issues thus far. Theyre a quality built mag and having carried & shot the Colt SMGs, Im impressed at the near likeness to the Colt mags. But its kind of what I expect from Brownells!

Great mag but heavy
These mag run flawlessly and the price is great compared to the overpriced colt mags! I wished Magpul made some like these to save on weight!

Awesome Finish, OK function
I currently own 6 of these mags. They look to be identical to my metalform mags and they are well built. The exterior coating is superior; feels great and prevents rusting. I had an issue where initially a few mags would have feeding issues on the last round. Ended up taking off 1-2mm of material off the last round hold open tab on the magazine and they were good to go. Only 2 of the 6 mags had this issue. Would definitely buy again just for the coating.

feeding issues
Tried to stuff a full magazine into a 9mm CMMG build with the bolt closed during an unloaded table start at a local USPSA match. Pulled the charging handle and rounds came flying out of the ejection port. Dumped the mag and more rounds fell out of the magwell. Very disappointing. When loading the rifle with the bolt open the mags work perfectly. Oh well, for the price the mags work well. Just don't try to load a rifle with the bolt closed.
