A Quality Bore Guide
It is really worth spending the money for this high quality bore guide. It is thoughtfully designed: the port to add solvent to your patch is well placed. It is heavily constructed, and fits very accurately without wobble in the receiver and chamber. The provided o-rings help keep solvents in the unit, and keep it accurately in line with the bore so your cleaning rod moves smoothly and straight into the barrel. Very easy to use, this bore guide is worth it!
BEAUTIFUL TOOL
Just like reviewer "HILTS" in 2012, mine rolled off my bench. It hit the cement floor, right on the front snout, and dented the opening where the cleaning rod exits. Have you ever restored a dented cartridge case? Same thing. Al I had to do was swedge it with a nice, round, Phillips screwdriver and it was good to go. That was 10 years ago and it's still a beautiful-looking, perfect tool for my AR15.

Works great. Can't find a thing I don't like about it. The solvent hole is a nice feature. Fits PSA PA 10 uppers.

Great Buy
Never felt I needed a guide. Finally bought one. This one, and could not be happier. Fits snugly in the chamber. I dont worry about if Im lined up or damaging the lands. It does not take up any room in the range bag. I am very happy with this product. Wish they would make something like this for the M1 rifles.
Top shelf quality and performance
I had been waiting for years to afford a Bravo Company rifle and finally have one so I wanted a JP Bore guide for AR15 and a Dewey plastic coated 36" rod to protect my investment. These two items absolutely work together perfectly. I greased the two o-rings with lithium grease and slowly inserted it with a little side to side encouragement. Then you rotate the bore guide until your window of opportunity appears and you are ready. Your brush , jags and other tips are going to insert through the guide and stay attached until finished. One note : the bore guide will not enter the receiver while using the Wheeler vise stand. The bore guide and rod were more important to me than the vise which I returned. You will be proud to own this guide. Mine was used in my BCM and a Rock River Arms LAR15.
A must tool for cleaning AR15 bore
very useful tool in cleaning my m4a1 bore. Just put the cleaning rod with soaked patch and push....and it goes in the bore smoothly. Unlike if only the cleaning rod is used, lots of time you need to be careful inserting it.
Great product
Very well made. Had one of the nylon/plastic guides before, rolled off the bench and broke the extension that fits in the chamber. This one won't do that. It's basically bullet proof, pun intended. Very portable and works in my Rock River and Colt as well as my buddy's DPMS, which you would expect. A little more money, but you'll never need to replace it.
Great Produce
After trying several less expensive "plastic" guides I finally got this one and couldn't be happier. Extremely well built, and it should last for years. Well worth a few dsollars more, it can travle in your range bag without fear of it breaking.
