Very consistent dimensions
Excellent fit with very minor fitting on my two Springfield mil-specs and Tisas resulting in no perceptable movement of barrel or barrel bushing.

Almost perfect fit for Colt Delta Elite
I bought this to replace the original bushing in my 1988 vintage Colt Delta Elite. The OEM part wasn't as tight fitting as I wanted, with looseness in the slide and a little around the barrel. So I was hoping this part would remedy that and it did not disappoint. This bushing is everything I hoped it would be - nice snug fit in the slide, yet doesn't require a bushing wrench to turn AND after just a LITTLE honing of the ID, I achieved a VERY nice snug fit of the barrel to bushing. Besides the light ID honing, the only other thing I had to do to get it to work near perfect was to hone a little metal from the top outer edge of the OEM recoil spring plug, where it was mushroomed a little, so the plug would clear the bushing when field stripping the handgun. I also like the look of it - kind of like a black contrasted with chrome look on my handgun. With this new addition I now have what I would consider a custom match quality 1911 without the custom price. I highly recommend this part.

The Best!
This is the second one I have bought. The first one on my old Springfield took 2 days of hand fitting but cut my group in half. Now on to my new Defender. Best looking bushing made.

Function and Beauty...
Another great product from EGW! Hardened American steel just like all their products. Get it if you want quality on your 1911. Excellent fit on my gun!

Closer to match fit for Kimber 1911s
This is a great upgrade for slightly tighter barrel fitting on a Kimber 1911, but you may need to fit the OD to allow it to go into slide. I was able to drop it into 1 of 3 Kimbers slides that I tried. It is very tight on the one that it does go into. Another thing I like is the fact there is no writing stamped into exterior. It is nice and clean. Ed Brown and Wilson both stamp their names on exterior of bushing.

Top of the line product
I ordered this bushing and the long nose plug also for my Citadel 1911 A1. With the factory bushing the pistol would print a 3.85 inch group at 25 yards from a bench rest sand bag. I received the EGW bushing and plug yesterday, installed it and went directly to the range. The pistol now prints a 2.65 inch group at 25 yards from the bench rest. No problems what so ever installing and perfect functioning with no fails to feed or extract. Best bang for the buck for an accuracy upgrade.

Quality bushing
I put this bushing on my Magnum Research 1911. It fit the slide perfectly but required minor fitting for the barrel. It's much tighter than the factory bushing and it looks great on a black gun! I highly recommend this product.

Great Fit!
The bushing was for a Colt Combat Commander. It was a tight fit, but it did not require tuning. However, a bushing wrench is necessary due to the tight fit.

Fit my RIA 1911 A1 FS perfectly
This EGW SS bushing fit my newer RIA 1911-A1 FS perfectly; tighter fit than the original RIA bushing, needed a bushing tool to help seat it, but was not too tight. Fits perfectly with the EGW long nose solid spring plug.
