Excellent metal treatment
Shake the can and shake it some more!!!! I've used several cans of Brownell's Aluma-hyde II on firearms. Cure takes a while (the hardest part) but it's well worth the wait. Instructions are on the can and Brownell's has a few videos on the application of Aluma-hyde II. This application of Olive Drab green was sprayed on a Ruger 10/22 that I treated with Aluma-hyde (OD) back in 1992 or 93. It had some hard use and needed a touch up and new stock. The "Green Hornet" looks great and has a Volquartsen Drop-In Hammer, Extended Magazine Release and William's Ace In The Hole Sight System.

Looks beautuful
Followed the directions and the refinishing job turned out great. Refinished an old Chiappa 1873 .22 revolver and now it looks like new, right out of the box.

Works very well if you follow all of the instructions.
Works very well if you follow all of the instructions, especially pre heating & using in warm ambiant temps, even if the thermomiter says its ok to paint, check the humidity too.
Also: dont be tempted handle painted parts before the (recommended) 2-weeks of cure time! I date all my work to remind myself.

Tough stuff and it looks good
I wanted something tougher than just a budget rattle can. This stuff fits the bill, just take your time and don't rush through the prep work. It took a little buying, trial, and error for me to find the color match that I wanted but free shipping kept the overall cost down. Good stuff.

Excellent product.
I have ran cerakoted and rattlecanned weapons quite a bit, and this product really bridges the gap. Very nice finish, dries very hard and goes on amazingly well considering its aerosol. Truly impressed. 5 out of 5.

Painted my Mule
I used the FDE and OD green to repaint my 26 year old Kawasaki Mule. Took half as many can than regular spray paint. And covered evenly and great.

Very close to FDE
I coated the upper and lower receivers in Matte Black. Everything else on the rifle was coated in Earth Brown. For reference, the unattached Magpul stock is FDE. I wish the Earth Brown was more flat, but i can live with the little bit of shine that it has.
