ALUMA-HYDE CLEAN OUT NOZZLES

ALUMA-HYDE CLEAN OUT NOZZLES Reviews & Ratings

ALUMA-HYDE CLEAN OUT NOZLES

Aluma-Hyde Clean Out Nozzles allow nearly unrestricted pressure to flow through the pickup tube and nozzle to clear out any semi-hardened paint that may be in the pickup tube. Once clear, replace with the original spray nozzle and start your project. When used correctly, this will ensure a smooth, sputter free paint application free of clumps or inconsistencies.

Sold in a 12 pack or as a single nozzle, these are a must-have accessory for our Aluma-Hyde paint. Not intended for finish spraying.

Very good spray nozzle
I bought extra spray nozzles for the different color Aluma-hyde II spay paints that I use. The nozzles are usually clogged with dry paint a day or two after using them. I purchased extra “clean-out” nozzles also. They both work very well. It’s nice to have spares at home.

Can't Yet Use Them
I bought a couple of cans of Aluma-Hyde II, for painting various gun accessories; however, since the paint just came out in globs, I inquired at Brownells. Was told I needed to use both the cleanout and replacement spray nozzles to use the product successfully; however, both products have been out-of-stock for months. The cleanout nozzles were the first to come back into stock, so I cannot use them until the replacement spray nozzles come back into stock, if ever, so that I can use the paint.

IT WORKS !
Thanks to this clean out nozzle, I was able to use an older can of Aluma Hyde Matt clear which had stopped functioning. The clean out nozzle brought it back to life

Works great...
These nozzles work well to clean out the pickup tube. I save the clean nozzles from any spray product. They differ in size and spray patterns, so, make sure you use an identical replacement. Trick: drill out an existing nozzle spray hole halfway through to intersect with the pickup portion. This will provide an unrestricted outlet for 'globs' in the pickup tube.

Test spray
A word of caution: after you've shaken the can, do a test spray before you get anywhere close to your project. I didn't and got the biggest glob of 'goop' you ever saw all over my project. They're right this stuff is almost impervious to solvents! Sandblasting is my next step.
