5
Great tool!
Makes bead removal and installation very easy. Well made.
5
Only used for one thing
While this is only used for removing hard to remove front sight bead of shotgun, it is excellent for it. Provides the extra torque to remove stubborn beads without damaging the barrel or the rib.
5
Good tool
The only way to go if you need to screw in a 1/16" middle shotgun bead. This tool is a "frustration reducer" that can be used to screw in anything that is very small.
4
Good tool, but…
The handle should be much smaller, and a more ergonomic profile. Too much torque can be applied to the sight bead, and the handle style is antiquated and uncomfortable.

works well
this tool works ok, the threads are rough, haven't had a chance to wire brush them. i should have got the small, this one works well on the bigger beads, though.

Worked well
I used this to install .067" and .130" diameter beads. It did the job well and did not marr them. The tool left the .130 shouldered bead slightly above the rib due to the face of the tool coming into contact with the rib before being fully seated. All in all, I'm pleased and made this be the easy job it should be even on slightly buggered threads.

Deserves 0 stars
This thing is a joke and does not work, even with heat applied. It just clamps on the bead and spins. The bead in the brownells video is clearly already loosend before the video. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Not what it should be
I bought this to change the beads on my Ruger Red Label. The mid bead is only 1/16". I purchased the "small" diameter, but, it will not tighten on a bead that small. The other problem was the handle. It was loose right out of the package. During use, it actually came off. Not my best purchase.
