Better than expected !!

I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is ROCK SOLID. Twice the clamping surface than most other stocks or braces. No wiggle anywhere. The adjustable cheek riser is just what I was looking for. I will be ordering more.

Good

First, this stock is cool. It’s durable and built tough. The adjustment points are excellent, it helps keep a comfortable and flat cheek weld with irons or added optics. It works well as a folder, extending quickly and feeling locked out firmly. It’s not terribly lightweight but the weight is just fine for something that feels this rugged. The matching Midwest Industries AKM trunnion pairs excellently. After installing the trunnion, the stock installs quickly and fits firmly in place. Fitting the trunnion to an AK is going to take patience, grinding, filing and certainly more work than building an AR15 but you should expect that when modifying an AK pattern gun. The cons, this stock itself is VERY hard to open and close when first out of the box, I’m not a small guy and it takes a significant amount of strength to close. After working it for several repetitions, it does improve but is still pretty firm. Also even though the amount of adjustability this stock gives is excellent, the controls are all really tough to manipulate or requires a tool which is ok, but I wish the cheek piece had larger knobs to turn by hand and the length adjuster felt smoother and easier to depress. I’m overall happy with this stock. I found this stock to be one of the best available folders on the market. My weapon looks great too.
