Great Upgrade

I installed this on my Arsenal milled receiver after upgrading the Trigger Group. Fitting is required (but expected). I used a hand file to fit the clearance over the disconnector and no fitting was required to block the trigger. My receiver has a "stop" pin protruding from the frame that required using a Dremel (on this safety) to allow proper fit. It works perfectly and provides the bolt hold open feature I was looking for.

Should be standard on all AK builds

Best upgrade I ever installed; greatly enhances the speed, functionality, and usability of any AK rifle. Compatible with a DDI stamped AK-47, no fitting required.

A must-have for any modernized AK

This safety dropped in to my SLR-106FR (5.56, 74-style) rifle. I also installed the Solar Tactical MFER, which this lever is compatible with. The MFER has a recess for the forward leading edge of the safety/selector, which allows positive location of the safety/selector in the "fire position". The stamping contour on the bottom edge of the Krebs safety does come in contact with one of the pins, but this can be remidied if a few minutes using basic tools. This wi smooth up the operation on my particular rifle, YMMV. The finish is of good quality and looks to be durable. it is on the shiny side, so beware if you have a matte black or parkerized rifle and are concerned about matching. Of course, it can be repainted if necessary.

Great addition!

A valuable upgrade to any Kalashnikov. The product fits perfectly in My Polytech. This product remedies the biggest Tactical design flaw with the AK series rifle.

Great upgrade for any AK

This is a must have for any AK period. It allows for easy manipulation of the safety without your hand leaving the pistol grip. This safety will be on all of my AK's

Best upgrade for AK rifles

I would use this on any AK rifle I had. It speeds reaction time with AKs. It is probably the single most valuable upgrade for AK rifles.

Great upgrade for range requiring BHO

Purchased for range use; needed BHO feature. Nice fit/finish - satin black (not glossy) matches my WBP AK47 finish; painted finish matches most AKMs on market. Thinner gauge steel than original safety; not as stiff. Will stay with oem safety when not at range use. Position of BHO notch feature allows use of recoil buffer if desired.

Nice except the finish

I would have given it 5 stars if the safety was cerakoted or some other durable coating/finish. It is a glossy black more than any other color, and it does not match the gun. I could care less about it matching. But, I do care about a durable flat finish. For the cost of almost $50, I expected a way better finish. Other than that, it is great.

Krebs enhanced safety is NOT SAFE

The Krebs enhanced safety does not work on my PSAK-47 GF5 equipped with the ALG AKT enhanced trigger. The lever arm of the Krebs safety that is inserted into the rifle is not the same shape as the original PSA safety lever; consequently, the rifle will fire in both the Safety and Fire positions. I reinstalled the original PSA safety and the rifle again functions perfectly. POOR DESIGN and false advertising. Dan
