Great loader for a great price
Loading magazine is no fun but I have to say that this Maglula loader makes it quick and easy. After buying this one for my AK.. I bought one for each type of guns I have... one thing that makes it great too.. is the price.. easy to own more than one..

Locks up well on my steel surplus mags and my polymer mags. No more sore fingers.
Super easy to use
I recently bought one of their pistol magazine loaders for my wife, and the last time we went to the range with my best friends they both fell in love with it, too! So I decided to try the AR and AK versions and couldn't be happier. The AR and AK models both latch onto the magazines and use a very simple mechanism without springs or anything that can really wear out. The construction is very sturdy and durable. These make a great alternative to investing in stripper clips, even if they're not really for "tactical" or competition use; they are fantastic for loading when you're not under any pressure.

This Maglula mag loader is the berries! I just got it today and instantly I can load 3 mags in less time than 1 by hand. After using it more I would say I could load 4-5 mags in the same time as 1 by hand. I didn't try the unload feature as thats what my AK is for :) You have to make sure to keep your hand on the top of the loader or you can unlatch it. Spend more time shooting and less time loading!!!
Bonus! loads AK 74 also
After years of scuffing up my fingers loading AK mags I bought this MagLula mainly because most liked it. I own a 47 & a 74 and quite honestly, if they had advertised one for the AK 74 I would have bought two, as they are both high volume shooters for me. To my delight, when I got this MagLula and read the instruction I saw it would do the 5.45 x 39 cartridges also. Opened her up and loaded/unloaded all my 47 & 74 mags just to see if it would work with both the newer plastic ones as well as steel surplus. Yep, it does. Money well spent. Like a lot of shooters you wonder where the cost is in a small piece of plastic like the Lula but in my mind the R&D is worth the final cost. Got the AR Lula also. Now my old arthritic fingers are happy even if my trigger finger isn't.

I've had the UpLula pistol loader for years and that thing is INVALUABLE. I just bought my first AK rifle recently and figured I'd try this loader out since the pistol loader works so well. Turns out this is just as awesome. It's well-made and makes loading 30-round magazines so freakin' easy. If you own an AR or AK, you NEED this loader.
TIME SAVER
Never know what you dont have Until you have it . Worth ever penny for time alone but preventing so much pain on the fingers and arms. I am going to buy 2 more they are plastic and these newer 20 and 10 rd Tapco mags are hard to load the first hundred times Will never go to the range or hunting without one
