Bought this to install on a Remington 760. The stock had a slight curve to it so the pad wouldnt fit. I taped two pencils to the bench abort 3 inches apart, hit the base with some heat and put a clamp in the middle. Made for a perfect fit!

Almost perfect
Im giving 5 stars because its exactly what I expected and hoped for. I installed on a 12ga Benelli Nova. It looks like it came this way from the factory with almost perfect fitment. Easy to put on too. In the past Ive used the limbsaver slip on pads with much success and this is basically the exact same thing but attaches with screws instead of slipping on. I have no doubt that this will reduce felt recoil in comparison to what comes standard on the nova. The only thing that I wish was different is the texture of the rubber. The texture is very tacky and grabs on your clothing which is annoying. I did expect this somewhat because the slip on pads Ive used for years are made of the exact same thing. If it gets to be a problem Ill wrap it in sport tape or something and put it back on. In summary, I wish I had known about this 8-10 years ago when I first bought my Nova.

Got tendonitis in my shooting shoulder last fall, so I tried one of these based on a online review, loved it, and now I have one on all 3 of my 12-gauge Remingtons (V3, 870, 11-87) and both 20-gauges (870, 11-87). Compared to the OEM pads, these are a little sticky to the touch, so they will pick up lint and pet dander from your floors, where the OEMs won't, but for the shooting comfort, especially if you shoot trap weekly like I did before the COVID-19 shutdown, they are worth the money.

the fit and finish is excellent. The recoil reduction is significant with this product. I have limbsaver pads on several of my shotguns and the only drawback with these pads I have found is they do tend to get caught in your clothing as you are shouldering the firearm.
Significantly reduces recoil
I installed this on my 870 Express with a synthetic stock. The recoil reduction was very impressive. I could only shoot 2 or 3 slugs with the factory recoil pad. With the Limbsaver, I shot 7 slugs and could have shot more. Much more comfortable.

I bought this pad based on Limbsavers reputation. I was not disappointed. Quality through and through. I bought two for my Brownings. The pad was listed for a Ruger and a Hawkeye, but was a perfect fit for my Brownings. The key is to go to the Limbsaver website, download and print Limbsavers templates. Match your stock butt to the correct size template, then call Brownells to cross match the model numbers. Then you are good to go. Mine was a perfect fit. Im very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend Brownells. They have excellent customer service. They answered all my questions promptly and with courtesy.
