ACOG BAC 223/5.56 BDC 4X32MM FIXED RIFLE SCOPE

ACOG BAC 223/5.56 BDC 4X32MM FIXED RIFLE SCOPE Reviews & Ratings

ACOG BAC 223/5.56 BDC 4X32MM FIXED RIFLE SCOPE

There's a reason the Trijicon ACOG® (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) is the official medium-distance engagement optic of the Marine Corps and U.S. Special Operations Forces.

And there’s a reason why more than one million ACOGs have been produced. Every feature of its innovative design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions. This is possible through a brilliantly illuminated reticle pattern, a compact design, and legendary durability that continues to lead the industry.

FEATURES:

ALWAYS ON, ALWAYS READY

Most ACOG® models are battery free, featuring a tritium/fiber optic illuminated reticle that automatically adjusts the brightness based on available light.

TAKE CONTROL

Several ACOG models are designed with a user adjustable brightness setting powered by a single AA battery. The 3.5x35 LED and 4x32 LED models both offer six adjustable brightness settings.

RUGGED, RELIABLE HOUSING DESIGN

Fixed-power design allows for minimal moving parts to create a nearly indestructible sighting system.

“BOTH EYES OPEN” DESIGN

“Both eyes open” shooting using Trijicon's Bindon Aiming Concept™ (BAC) feature allows for improved situational awareness.

OUTSTANDING CLARITY

The quality of the glass and multi-coated lenses maximize light-gathering capabilities and clear field of view with zero distortion.

EXACT TARGET DISTANCES & HOLDS

Most ACOG models feature a bullet drop compensating and target-ranging reticle for decisive aiming.

COMBAT PROVEN

No other magnified optic has been used more in combat than the ACOG.

SHOCK-RESISTANT

Proven to withstand recoil from a .22LR to a .50BMG and everything in between. Easily passes U.S. Military drop test requirements.

WATERPROOF

Exceptional waterproof performance that exceeds military standards. Dry nitrogen-filled to eliminate fogging. This optic is tested to withstand and perform in extreme cold and heat with dry-nitrogen filled housing that mitigates fogging.

Great optic, trijicon clear.
My first acog and I can say its by far my favorite optic, picture is super crisp, shooting both eyes open is new to me but learning how to use it like that hasn't been bad at all. I'm new to the AR platform but my son shoots competition and he loves it but said he is just used to a "standard" reticle. Chevron is very bright outside on a sunny day, almost too bright so I read up on it and you can put a piece of electrical tape over some of the fiber optic on top. In low light conditions it has tritium to illuminate the sight.

Pay Attention
I accidentally ordered the wrong crosshairs and then had to email Brownells to get it fixed. Once I got it in the mail I immediately realized this isnt the same thing I had in the army. It is similar, but it doesnt have the horizontal mil scale I was used to. The view through the sight seems...empty. Oh well...it was my mistake for not paying attention. Other than that, this scope is definitely worth the money. Its tough as nails and it takes very little maintenance to keep it in good condition. I cant wait to get it out on the range!
5
Best magnified optic for the AR15/M4.
I've had the TA31F for a couple of years now and I have to say it is a very, very tough scope. This scope has been thru hot and cold, wet and dry weather, taken drops, falls and embarrassingly enough it's even been stepped on. It's always taken everything I threw at it in the Appalachian foothills and it's repeatedly stood tall without fail. I've shot a sub 1.5" 3 shot group at 100 meters. I don't know just how that ranks for a 4x optic in this category but I feel that the ACOG will be as accurate as the one pulling the trigger can be. I wish it cost a bit less but I truly think it the best magnified optic one could use on their M4.

AWESOME!
Built a M4 5.56. Took scope out of the box, attached it to weapon, went to range and at 100 yards put 5 out of 7 shots in a bullseye group you could have covered with a quarter, Windage and elevation was dead on right out of box. Awesome optics.
5
None better
Hands down the best optic you can put on your rifle.
5
Well made, easy to mount, performs well
Arrived in good order, well-packaged and delivered rapidly as one expects from Brownells. Installed easily and zeroed rapidly. A pleasure to use.

The Gold Standard for combat rifles.
This was the last item aquired for an AR-15 rebuild and absolutely put the project over the top! Outstanding quality, functionality and ease of use. A perfect fit for any type shooting or hunting that can be done with an AR. It is a lot of money but you will not regret the investment.
