LT-32 RIFLE POWDER

LT-32 RIFLE POWDER Reviews & Ratings

ACCURATE POWDER LT-32 RIFLE POWDER

Formulated to give the same legendary performance as IMR 8208/T-322, LT-32 is ideal for short-range benchrest cartridges like 6mm PPC. An extruded powder with extremely fine kernels that measure like a ball powder, LT-32 is made in the same plant and on the same machinery as the original T-322. It gives high velocities and extreme consistency with very low standard deviation.

Happy Find
I honestly bought because was about the only powder I could find for my initial 223 loads but I am really happy I did. Easy to dispense & trickle and my initial loads yielded 0.420 & 0.350 MOA out of a mostly factory Rem 700. Not sure I may need to do much exploring with other powders.

HAVEN'T USED IT YET BUT SOUNDED GOOD!!
ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T USED IT YET TO RELOAD MY 38 SPECIAL ROUNDS, EVERYTHING I HAVE READ IT WILL BE THE BEST FOR MY TARGET RELOADS.

Excellent performance 308 & 5.56
Another poster rated down 308 performance for 2000 FPS 175gr loads indicating they fairly severely under loaded the ammo and suffered pressure and burn variations and bad groups due to that error. 178 gr Hornady ELD-X 22 barrel with 36.0 gr LT-32 Win WLR primer runs 2480 FPS at 10 ft. 168 gr Hornady OTM 22 barrel with 36.5 gr LT-32 Win WLR primer runs 2490 - 2520 FPS at 10 ft. LT-32 Great Small case powder
I enjoy this Accurate LT-32 Powder for my .223 either in my bolt action or my AR15. I shoot 55 grain bullets usually either Barnes TSX, Triple Shock Vortex and also the MPG (Multi Purpose Green rounds. I started at the bottom of the loading data and I still am there using 21 grain loads with all my 55 grain .223s. Accuracy has been 3 rounds in a dime at 100 yards and touching one hole groups in some cases. I am a varmint/predator caller by trade. I was also recommended to use this powder by "Speedy Gonzalez" world class bench rest champion and machinist. I have another friend who was a former Marine sniper. He said that this is all he uses in his .223. The bench rest guys all say it is very good top grade small case powder for their 6mm BR. This has been flawless with my .223 as I hit squirrels out to 200+ yards. I'm happy.

Great for benchrest
Best replacement for the short supply of N-133. Meters great and is more accurate than N-133 when loaded by bench rest shooters. have nothing negative to say about this powder.

Works great in loads for AR
Got this stuff cause it was what I could get my hands on for loading for my AR. Loaded 55Gr. FMJ and VMAX. Accuracy is great and it is super clean. Also meters like a dream out of my RCBS measure. Load data is very limited on Accurate website. They do have some load data for .223 and 5.56 so I use that as a base and workup. It is a pricey powder though so I would prob not buy again if TAC or N-135 or H335 were available...

Not Impressed
Used this to load .308 rounds. Cloudy cold day with temps in the mid 40s. Starting load of 34Gr with Federal Brass and standard LR primers, Sierra Match King 175gr Bullets. All brass has been trimmed, neck turned and flash hole deburred. Every load was weighted and OAL was 2.802 inches. Shot across a chronograph with the following results. Hi 2157 Lo 2060 Av 2109 Es 97 Sd 42 Group sizes were 1.0 inches to 1.5 inches at 100 yards. This rifle shots 1/2 inch groups with most other loads and Federal GMM 175 gr.
