Solid

Very high quality. Bought cheap roll pin punches in the past that were borderline worthless. These are solid and have been with every penny. I have used them to put together two AR receiver sets.

I've only used this once while modifying a Steyr Aug. No complaints. Everything seems to be of good quality and it did everything I needed it to.

Using the right tools for the job.

I built my first AR-15 using the tools I already have in my garage and the ones I really needed but was missing I initially just bought cheap tools. That first build shows that I foolishly used cheap tools. Im a bit OCD so those marred marks and the ugly looking pins just couldnt stay so I bought this kit and Im now in the process of replacing all those pins. The kit is solidly built, includes you dont realize you need until you use it for the first time. Kit makes the build process much easier. My only complaint is that I didnt buy Avids master tool kit instead of buying just a few pieces I need. Its $250.00 and if youre going to build ARs on a regular basis I would go with that kit instead. If you cant afford that $250 then this kit is a great option. Its obvious that AVIDs tool kits are put together by people who know exactly what you need.

Makes life easier

This set sure makes removing roll pins easier. I've finished out a few ar lowers now using this set, and having the right punch makes all the difference in the world. I like the hammer with the 4 interchangeable heads and the convenient case the kit comes in.
