Good Powder for 20 Practical
This is good in my 20 Practical with a 26" barrel using 40 grain Berger Varmint Boat tail bullets.

One great powder.
I use this powder in several of my rifle loads.
It works well in several older milsurp calibers.

Win 748
I’ve used Win 748 powder for my 5.56 reloads for over 35 years. I’ve tried others but always come back. So when Brownells offered no haz-mat fee, I thought it was as good as it gets
Great powder!
Using to reload 6.5 Creedmoor with 123 grain Hornady SST bullets. Shoots great!!! All 3 shot groups were 1" down to 3/8". Impressive
Best in my 5.56mm
748 is my baseline 5.56 powder. Measures very accurately in my RCBS powder measure. Burns clean. I occasionally try the "latest & greatest" new 5.56 powder, but eventually find that old 748 is all I need. Like it with the Sierra 64/65 gr. pills.
User Friendly and Accurate.
I started reloading with this powder. My goal was to keep working up to better quality powders and be done with it. Well, I worked up to the better more expensive powders. Problem is.... The better ones sometimes aren't as accurate in my rifle, and they cost more! I am a big fan of Winchester 748. There will always be room on the shelf for a couple of pounds of this stuff.
