EGW 7-HOLE CHAMBER CHECKERS

Chamber Checkers help you avoid jams, misfires, feeding problems, and other malfunctions caused by out-of-spec ammo. Use with factory loaded ammunition as well as reloaded ammo prior to shooting to verify your ammunition is within SPEC. These 7-Hole checkers are machined from solid 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and uses actual Clymer reamers to ensure the ammo matches your chamber. Measures minimum case diameter as well as maximum overall length. Anodized Matte Black.

Check bullets fast with this

I check all my 9mmX19mm 90gr XD Lehigh reloads with this 7 hole checker, is faster than using a hand caliper and the errors in mis reading the ammo dimentions. A Good Tool for checking loaded ammo.

One Arm shooter approved !!!!

My EGW 223 bullet checker just came in today from Brownells. I have one arm and I never reload. My friends do some reloading for me sometimes. I bought two EGW bullets checkers and 4 LE Wilson max gauges to play with my ammo. I have a full case of 223 55grain Fiocchi (50 round) ammo. The first box , I found one round that would not sit flat. I am going to check my ammo before shooting for the rest of my life. I will be buying more ammo checkers in the furure. Real fun to play with , when the weather is bad outside.

Great tool. Really does show slight errors in brass resizing. If the head is not flush or below you are going to have a problem clambering that round

Great tool to stay on the bench

I was having issues with my reloads not chambering, so i stripped down my bolt and hand fed sized cases and realized they were not headspacing. I bought this tool and now that my dies are set properly I have no issues. I check loaded rounds out of every batch with this tool to ensure nothing has gone awry. My friends at work that reload have all borrowed this tool and realized almost none of them were sizing cases properly. A customer recently brought me an ar-15 upper with a stuck live round, the culprit was an improperly sized reload. Better safe than sorry and this tool is the answer.

Not trustworthy

The bullets pass well in the caliber (EGW) but do not enter the barrel of the revolver (Taurus 357).
