From Forster, and Exclusive to Brownells, we have the 5.56 Armorers Headspace Gauge Kit! This kit contains one 1.4646” 5.56 Go Gauge, one 1.4686” midrange gauge, and one 1.4736” max field gauge!

These gauges are manufactured by Forster with a reduced rim and cut out for the ejector. This allows the use of the gauge without the disassembly of the bolt.

These Armorer headspace gauges are a game changer. Not having to disassemble the Bolt to check headspace and then having to reassemble the Bolt is a real timesaver. Just be sure to read the directions on how to position the gauge into the chamber before checking headspace. Great addition to my tool kit.

These work perfect! Checked the Gauges for Accuracy against a know calibrated gauge and they measured perfect. No bolt disassembly required. These would be especially useful for an easy and quick check of a gun you might be interested in purchasing at a gun show, LGS or at a private sell.
