417 COMPENSATOR GLOCK® 43

417 COMPENSATOR GLOCK® 43 Reviews & Ratings

At its launch, the Glock®G43 made waves as one of the company's smallest 9mm handguns, bringing a new concealed-carry option to millions of American gun owners. However, the gun's diminutive size combined with its chambering in 9mm means it can be a bit more of a handful than other guns on the market. The Agency Arms 417 Compensator is purpose-built to provide relief from felt recoil. Each Agency Arms Glock®G43 417 Compensator fits all threaded barrels with a standard thread pitch of 1/2-28 TPI. The design of the compensator features two vertical gas ports and two ports that vent out to the side, reducing both recoil and muzzle climb. The unit is machined from 7075 aluminum and features an all-black finish or a gold finish, depending on consumer preference. Best of all, for installation, Glock®G43 owners can use their factory recoil-spring assembly when mounting the Agency Arms 417 Compensator. The device also features a machined hole for mounting a front sight, so users can increase their sight radius. The compensator ships with the necessary set screws needed for installation.

Works as it should
I use this on a G43 for shooting at jackrabbits, which are almost always running. With this compensator and a threaded Victory First barrel, you have the barrel length and sight radius of the G48 plus less muzzle rise (the younger generation calls this shoots flat). The color is darker than the slide on my sample, but it looks fine and works great.

Great Compensator for the Glock 43!!!
Ive been shooting since I was 8, Im 50 now, and really wanted to get a new compensator for my Glock 43. I have another one from Griffin but its only a single port. The Agency Arms Comp works and looks Much better. Its easy to order, quick free delivery and Super Easy to install (if you can see the tiny Allen screws you need to insert on either side of the Compensator) The Recoil and Muzzle Rise are dramatically reduced. Event though the Glock 43 is a small sub compact, it still kicks pretty good. In competition I go right back on target. I recommend this product and I give it 5 stars.

More manageable recoil control
This compensator helped quite a bit with recoil. As is mentioned in the description, the Glock 43 can be a bit to handle with full power defensive loads. But the added weight up front and the ports pushing the barrel back down really help to regain a sight picture. I used this comp with 115gr, 124gr and 147gr FMJ and Speer Gold Dots, all of which had considerably reduced recoil with it installed. *P.S. DO NOT install a fiber optic front sight onto the mounting hole of the comp itself. That is, unless you want to do as I mistakenly did and blow the fiber optic rod right out of your sight... :(
