3/4" PLASTIC/BRASS HAMMER

For light, precise tapping of punches, the brass end is perfect. When it's possible the head might touch delicate bluing, the soft, amber, plastic head is the right choice.

3/4” plastic-brass hammer
Very handy for installing/removing blued parts. I got an extra plastic tip because eventually they need replacement.

Inexpensive for small jobs / Range bag
This smaller, lighter version of the popular 1" Brownells combo hammer is perfect for my range bag. Back home, this works great for smaller jobs. I also bought the 3/4" nylon replacement head to swap out when needed. Note: The plastic head is now solid orange, not translucent amber like in the photo or description.

Great Hammer
Perfect hammer for my workshop. Made well & I like the interchangeable tips. Would like to get another one in a larger size.

Nice mallet
Good duel purpose mallet for tapping pins out using a brass punch or tapping back in so not to mark the bluing. Nice addition to any cleaning kit.

Retail Store owner and gunsmith
Decent hammer for the money, use it almost daily. However the orange plastic head isn't the best. Ive broke two of them so far after about 4-5 months of daily use. For the average hobby guy it would be fine, for a full time gunsmith...meh. However I just made two hammers into one double sided brass one, has been great!

Not the quality I expected
Ordered this product expecting a quality hammer. Instead I recieved something I could buy at a discount store for a few bucks. The tips appear ok the the body of the hammer is very crude and oxidized. Made cheap. First purchase from Brownells....not impressed!
