LAPUA 308 WINCHESTER RIFLE BRASS

Many shooters have found Lapua brass to be considerably superior in quality to most other brass available. All Lapua cases are strong and uniformly precise. Lapua cases are manufactured to be reloaded, again and again, dozens of times. The base section is hard and strong, and the dimensions remain constant and will hold primers tight in the primer pocket even after repeated reloading. The brass body section is hard and firm. It is easy to extract after firing, whether full length sizing or only neck sizing. Strict tolerances in concentricity and wall thickness are used in manufacturing. The neck and shoulder are annealed to withstand repeated reloading. Packaged in a plastic case, 100 cases per package.

Top notch

Fantastic brass and very little prep work to get up and going with these. Flash holes were uniform and pristine with no burrs.

My favorite brass brand

Incredible brass, best quality you can get and can get the longest life (most fires before needing to dispose) of brass. Little pricey but definitely worth it if you are into precise reloads and consistently.

Great Brass

Lapua is great brass. I have used it many times and find it to be the best (but I haven't tried Alpha yet). I have reloaded 308 cases 10 times and the primer pockets are just starting to loosen a little. Usually annealed every other reload but tried some without annealing (just to test) and still had good results up to 7-8 reloads. Pushing 155grn Lapua Scenars at 2750fps (Varget powder). So it wasn't a hot load ...

Best brass I've ever used

I spent $100 on a case neck trimmer, only to find out that I need to use it on every other brand of brass other than Lapua. Lapua is consistent in length to within 0.001", it measures 2.008" from the factory, and it is concentric already, no need to turn the necks. I get at least 10 shots from each piece as long as I anneal the brass every 3 shots or so. If you don't anneal your brass, the necks will start to crack after 5 uses or so. Forget the case neck trimmer, just buy an Annealeez machine and good competition dies, you'll be shooting with the big boys! Now, if I could only control that wind!
