If you are a gunsmith
watch out for this hammer. The hammer sear engagement surface is rotated about 7 counterclockwise as shown (towards the hammer face). That puts the hammer hook inner surfaces at just about the same slope as a properly dressed sear hammer engagement surface when the two are fully engaged. The sear surface staying engaged with the inner surface of the hammer hooks as the sear rotates out of engagement creates maximum opportunity for creep. The hooks need to be undercut to minimize creep.
