Wilson Follower/Spring Kit
I bought this Wilson follower/spring to replace the "Shooting Star" follower in one of my Ruger P90DC mags. That particular follower allows for 8 rds. in 7 rd. magazine, but upon feeding the last rd., the follower moves forward allowing the lip of the follower to dig into the aluminum frame. This Wilson follower kit converts this "late model" mag back into the "earlier" 7 rounders, as are my other original mags.

Wilson 7 to 8 Round Conversion
I had two 7 round Wilson mags on hand. One with a broken follower that casued the slide to not lock back after the last round was shot. Rather than replace with a standard 7 round follower kit I decided to order the 8 round follower kit & upgrade both, on the basis I could see no operational difference in the body or floor plate of the two typoes of magazines. I am delighted to report that wth snap caps they seem to function perfectly as 8 rounders. I will modify the mag body with the 8 round observation hole after live fire testing them on an IPSC course this weekend.

Excellent quality!
I used this kit to repair another 1911 magazine of different manufacturer. Putting in this spring and follower made this magazine a top-notch running item. Buy with confidence it's Wilson Combat!

Do what they’re supposed to
Good product. Works fine. If you have Wilson 47d mags of any age you likely need to replace the springs.

After 35 years...
After 35 years of owning these magazines, I found that they weren't activating the slide stop, otherwise they fed and functioned flawlessly. So I figured it was time to give them new life with new springs. As usual and what you would expect from Wilson, fit and finish are excellent and they went together smoothly.

Great stuff
I spent less than 10 bucks to keep my Wilson Combat mags in service. Sure beats buying new mags.

Great Replacement Parts
A great way to take highly used WC magazines and bring them right back to top performance for a fraction of the price of new magazines.

Good as new
This was a rebuild for the first Wilson magazine I bought over 20 years ago and then abused to see how well it would hold up. If I recall at one time I left the magazine fully loaded for over a year in the range bag (really not a big deal for a single stack but still). The magazine held up just fine but the end of last year I bought a new 1911 and that the old magazine spring wasn't strong enough to hold the slide open after the last round. The old follower was actually still serviceable but I replaced everything but the base pad anyway. That plus a little work on the body with some 800 grit sand paper had the magazine looking and running like new (shy of the base pad). I guess this could be a review of the 8 round Wilson magazines as well.

Rejuvenated My 47D Mags
I have a collection of Wilson 47D magazines which don't lock back the slide on my 1911 - the springs were just too weak from the factory and wore down over time. This kit solved that problem and reinvigorated the Wilson magazines so that they're back to 100% functionality.
