Works great when making sure your rails are even. File only cuts top and bottom of rail/slide.
Just right file for the job
Excellent file. This is the 3rd one I've owned. Gotten a few dozen builds out of each file . Be sure to get a fine bristled file card, these fine cut teeth are a little fussy to clean, but that is the deal with all very fine cut files. I use a little machinist file chalk on all my files. Really helps with keeping them clean
Works for ejector slot and so much more

This file is an absolute necessity for finishing 1911 frame builds; it makes getting the perfect slide/frame fit very easy. It's well made and will last me a lifetime.

The first thing that hit me about this product was "Made in Italy". Good quality file. The design is perfect for my slide work with the ability to widen a grove and deepen a grove with the same tool. The thickness of the file is .0930 inch.
