The spring easily adjusted to a 3.5# trigger pull. Made with quality spring steel. Only needed a tiny amount of stoning on the nose of the sear spring.

It's an easy drop in spring, minor adjustment needed for grip safety feature, just a minor pull in the last leaf to about half inch to avoid rattling of grip safety.. no need to adjust anything else unless you're a competitor shooter and need a light trigger..

Purchased this along with a Harrison Designs trigger to replace the units in my Springfield Armory MilSpec. This spring dropped in with no fitting required. My brutally heavy trigger pull turned into a light, crisp pull that I'd say is close to 4lbs. I couldn't be happier and can't wait to head to the range.

Nice spring, but...
The specs on the product page say, "Fits all 1911 autos." Not quite so. This spring does not fit my Para LTC; the left leaf does not reach the sear leg. The product packaging says, "Colt 1911/1911A1, Commander Officers series, MKIV, Defender and most copies." Most copies, but apparently not all. That said, it really is a well crafted spring.
