Spare recoil spring plug

This is as spare recoil spring plug for your 1911 after you've launched it and you can't find it. Concider it as an insurance policy, as having one spare you'll be able to find the lauched one quickly, or if you use it the lauched one will magically turn up when spare is installed. This is for blued guns.

Recoil spring plug

I bought this and a GI style guide rod to replace the full length one in my Rock island tac ultra 2. Fit was perfect and made it easier to field strip the gun for cleaning. Plus made in the USA.

Sufficient but Not as described

I honestly cannot give it less than 5 stars because there is nothing wrong with it, but I wanted to point out to any potential buyers that this particular one is BLUED. The picture doesn't look black until its enlarged and juxtaposed against the next one down (which is black) assures your that it is stainless. Had I read the description and not trusted the picture I would have seen. No one to blame but myself, but thought you guys might want to know.
