They’re ideal for correcting out-of-round and under-size pin holes. These reamers are equipped with polymer handles give you a secure purchase to transmit maximum torque smoothly and evenly to the hole. The Brownells 1911 Reamers are available in 0.110”, 0.154”, 0.156”, and 0.157” diameters.

Worked for me

I had picked up a "kit" with a pin, link & link pin from a well known 1911 parts outfit in eastern PA. I've used them before but this time, I couldn't get the link pin installed without way too much force. In fact, I was worried I was going to run the barrel... Anyway, I was able to get the pin out of the barrel and I used this tool to ream out the hole. After that, a new pin sailed in just fine with a little tapping with a small hammer & punch.
