Good Tool
Well designed and well made. Simple to use and makes a precise cut. I just cut the barrel lugs on a Kart '45 ACP 5" barrel with Wilson/Nowlin ramp. I'm well satisfied with the tool.

Works GREAT!
Works great and is the only correct way to cut the legs without a machine. Can be used many times with proper lubrication.
The kit's been out of stock 4 too long!
I really wanted the entire kit, but it has been out of stock for far too long. I had to buy the components for the kit individually, but the convenient case made to keep it in was not found. Other than that, I am satisfied with these tools in general. Use of a good cutting oil is a must to lessen the chance of breakage and extend useful life. Turn clockwise with the handle on the slide lock side of the frame to further reduce breakage.

Broke before I finished the job
After reading the instructions and oiling the cutter I installed it into the frame, applied light forward pressure and started turning it clockwise. Got about 3 turns and it bound up. Pushed the slide rearward off the cutter and tried to pull the cutter out to inspect it and clean out any chips. I could not get it free of the frame it ended up snapping in half and stuck in the frame. I had to use a punch to drive it out which scored the slide stop pin hole. After getting everything apart I ended up hand filing the lugs to get them fit. I don't know if I should have used a different oil or got one that slipped qc or what happened.
