Kimber 1911 22 magazine works on Ciener
Just got my Kimber 1911 22 14 Rd magazine from Brownells. I was looking for extra magazines for my Jonathan Arthur Ciener 45 conversion kit that I use on my Colt gold cup combat 45. It worked great. I'm ordering some more.
Works for Ciener Conversion as Well
I heard on the Internet that this magazine would work with the J. A. Ciener conversion unit, so I took a chance. After a very short break-in period and a bit of graphite lubricant, it has worked perfectly. It is also much lighter than the original.
22 LR adapter for my my Kimber ultra car
This same product is 3X the price from Kimber. I am so pleased I will order a couple more. One caveat though. This mag is longer than my grip handle, so it sticks out. The original comes with grip extenders. I would love to get those grip extenders after market. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance. Thanks for a better price.
They Work Great
I have four of these and I'm buying a couple more. I use them with a Kimber 22lr upper which is mated to a Springfield Operator frame. The run great, no issue at all for me.
great mag
I use this mag with a ciener conversion, works flawless! I expected some modifications, none were needed. Great choice on my part, thanks.
Works in my Rock Island
I have only run one mag each of the 10 round and the 14 round version in my new (less than 300 rounds fired) Rock Island 1911 XT22. The 14 round worked flawlessly. The 10 round had two fail-to-feed and one fail-to-fire, but both were most likely from ammo issues rather than from the mag. I am ordering two more of the 14 round.
Works great
I bought 1 of these and the 14 rd for my Ceiner conversion and they both worked flawless on my R1. I got both mags for little more than the cost of 1 Ceiner mag.
Good addition for a RIA 1911A1 XT22
Used this magazine in a Rock Island Armory 1911A1 XT22. Good as original, good price, fit and function good.
Great in Ceiner Conversion
These little mags are great. I use them in my Ciener conversion mated ontop of my Para Ord frame. Much cheaper than Ciener. They will not drop free on my frame.
Works
I bought two. Both feed perfectly in my Colt/Marvel conversion (as do Kimber magazines) with CCI Mini-Mag HP. BTW, if your conversion unit doesn't function correctly, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
