Quality part
Bought the blued .200 unit and it dropped into a older West Hurley Auto Ordnance with no issues. Definitely seemed to tighten things up a bit. Stop looks like good machine work has been done. This also cured slide lock back issue with certain magazines, locks back perfect with all mags now. I got this because the Wilson Bullet Proof stop was out of stock, but am very pleased. Give this unit a try as I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased with it. Will most likely buy another.

Perfect fit for the Colt my customer brought in. He was unfamiliar with disassembly and reassembly of a 1911 and consequently bent the original. A perfect “plug and play” solution.

Be Advised!
Be advise ALL these EGW slide stops are 'oversized' [even the .200, somewhat] and can require fitup. Most standard sized slide stops measure at .980, i've had .200's that will not slide through both holes/sides of the frame. but if you frame holes have gotten slightly worn, as for some alum' Cmdr' frames, this can be an excellent way to tighten things back up.

I ve used this part to upgrade new springfield 1911a1s and replace worn stops in Wilson cqb and several other makes. So far has been total drop in replacement. Perfect .200" pin nice finish quality. So far has worked as expected with wide range of magazines. I have faith in EGW parts.
Highest Quality!
As Gunsmith, I use this Slide Stop (both CS and SSTL, 45acp and 9mm)exclusively on all of my Customer's pistols and my own. They always function perfectly and never fail. The pin is always 0.200", which is ideal for a great lock-up. Remember, you get what you pay for!!
Worked better than I expected
Used this part in a Colt Series 80 that had developed some slop in the [frame] slide stop holes. The .203 oversize was ideal. This slide stop just fit my Wilson Combat .278 link so now the slide/barrel/frame time just right. I did not have to modify this part to install but is is possible if your link is near min spec you will need to hone the link hole.
Excellent part
These are a very high quality part. They utilize the traditional colt style pad which I like. I also like the fact that these are fully machined from solid steel vs. being cast. I will be using these from now on.
