The HD Night Sights were specifically created to address the needs of tactical shooters. The three dot green tritium night sight set’s front sight features a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint while the rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch. This unique configuration increases visibility and quickens front sight acquisition—even in transitional lighting. Additionally, the front surface of the rear sight is steeply hooked to assist in emergency one-handed slide operation. The HD Night Sights are designed to shine—even in the most demanding conditions. Green tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from date of manufacture.

Excellent product

This is an excellent product that will enhance yours sights and help you in becoming an better shooter, both in brightly lit and low light environments. The large orange front sight is easy to acquire against the blacked out rear sight. I wish the tritium on the front sight was of a different color as well, but it works well anyway. The design of the rear sight also allows for one-hand racking of the slide. The improvement is well worth the cost.

What you pay for

Have these on a Glock 17, the best design for carry use in my opinion. Perfect fit on New colt government model, taller front sight is great for those who prefer POA and POI as close as possible.

The best sights for your carry gun

Trijican HD is the number one sight that I recommend to my customers when they ask about night sights and they are what I use on my carry gun. They are a little more than other similar night sights, but the quality makes them worth it. They install quickly and easily, and the stay put on the slide.

Gun smith installed on Para Ordanance

Installed on my Para Ordnance "Expert Commander" my carry gun of choice. My gunsmith friend installed them for me. I wanted the tritium night sights, and went with the yellow because of a review. In shade you can see the front sight well but in direct sunlight the yellow "explodes". WOW, very glad I got them. Recommend the the Novak cut for all 1911's, even Colts so to get a good cut front and rear. Had to machine the slide front and rear, perfect job.

Great for old eyes

With pistols, focusing on the front sight is very important. These sights make it much easier to do with old eyes. The yellow front sight stands out very well in low light conditions. I have now recommended and installed these sights on several customers pistols. They all are very pleased.

These don't fit the Ruger SR1911!!

I give the product five stars because there is nothing wrong with these sights. They just don't come close to fitting a ruger SR1911. Ruger makes their own front sight so the dovetail cut is a lot smaller than you can file these sight down to before you have to stat filing into the sight post.

Trijicon HD Sights

Love this style. Very easy to see w/ my 65 year old eyes. Had to file a little to get them in place on my Rock River 1911 using my Wheeler sight pusher.
