Allows easier access to mag release.

These grips are thin with a perfectly-molded channel allowing easy access to magazine release. They have a texture that allows a tight grip and have enough 'give' that I can fit a Wilson Combat magwell extension under them.

Feels good in the hand

Fit perfect on my springfield garrison. More texture than I thought there would be but not too aggressive. On the thin side witch works for me and I believe is why they fit so good on my sf. Original walnet grips were nice but just didn't fit the gun to me. Very happy with these.

I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice grips, the texture is just right and they are excellent quality. I put them on my Kimber Pro CDP II and they fit perfectly. Outstanding value.

Great Grips!

Nice grips, good looking, great value, "grippy" texture, I have small hands and I'm left handed, and these grips seem to make my Ruger SR1911 feel a bit better and "thinner" in my hands than the factory grips...I was worried that the groove on the left grip made to let a right-hander's thumb get to the mag release easier would let my trigger finger drop the mag by leading it over and onto the mag release, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So far I really like them and will probably order more for some other 1911's I have in my collection, maybe some other colors. As usual with Magpul products they are top quality and very functional. A great value!

Fit great on my Para Tac S

Installed on a TAC S in Spec Ops Green. Installed in less than 5 minutes with no fitting required. They are very similar in appearance to the factory Para grips but a little thicker. Also the thumb groove is nice for easy mag changes. Good grips for the money.

Another quality Magpul product

Lightweight, durable grips with an interesting triangular profile and very good grippy texture. The thumb relief for the magazine catch is something that now that I have experienced it, I couldn't go back to standard panels. It really does help make magazine changes quicker and with no need to alter the position of the firing hand, and is especially useful for those with shorter thumbs. They fit perfectly, are a good value, and are the same quality that Magpul is known for.

Fit perfectly on a Taurus 1911. Better than any other grips that I have tried and for a better price.

Good grips for the money

Finally can afford to replace the factory grips on several 1911s without breaking the bank. Nice grippy texture, but not too aggressive that it shreds skin, and unlike some other materials, they don't grab clothing, making them good for CCW. The notch for the mag release is not over-done as some have suggested, and works well with factory length mag releases. Rumor has it they are releasing more sizes soon. Will buy more when they do.
