M1911 tenon sight set
Easy install and looks great! Had to use a file on rear sight for it to fit the dovetail cut on the slide. Will take it to range later this week and give them a workout. Replaced govt model sights on a Filipino M1911 with something I can see. Highly recommend!

Great Sights
I have installed over 20 of these triggers in recent customer's 1911s. Quality, performance and aesthetics are World-Class. I also use them on my own competition pistols. They are made just slightly over-sized, which to me is highly desirable. Only 320 sand paper, a flat surface and a little patience is required to produce a fabulous trigger with no detectable vertical travel. Size-wise, they are in the middle of medium and long reach triggers. They are perfect, except for possibly small hands. They are adjustable for both pre- and over-travel. I love these triggers and highly recommend them!

MGW 1911 sight upgrade
I took my RIA Commander to my LGS and had them do the installation per a gunsmith. The rear sight took some very light machining. The front sight slot for the tenon had to be reworked, the GS said it was somewhat ovaled, for whatever reason, had to silver solder it in and recut for the new sight. The Smith did a fine job on it and I am happy with the results. These sights are an improvement over the MILSPEC sights.Just took my Officer`s model to have the three dot sights installed, which were not available when I ordered these.

Great for the money.
I was looking for the best priced replacement sights to rid myself of the low-pro GI style sights on my RIA 1911. This is about as inexpensive as it gets. These are not, in any way, low profile or no snag sights. They sit high, but the sight picture is good for the price. The sights shoot POA/POI elevation-wise, and obviously windage is on you to get right when you adjust the rear sight. The front sight staked on as it should, as expected. The rear sight will likely require you to file some metal off the bottom of the blade. I had to remove about .08" and bevel the inside of the blade surface so it cleared the rear of the slide. Also the dovetail was a little big for the joint, even after throwing it in the freezer to shrink it for starting it. Had to file a fair amount off that, but I won't complain about it because for all I know my joint was cut non-standard. A little cold-bluing where I had to file for fitting and it looks pretty good. All in all, modifying the rear sight to fit right shouldn't be too big of a task for someone willing to stake on a front sight in the first place. I think it's a great value. One last thing, the finish looks to be a phosphate finish akin to parkerizing. I don't think it would look right on a blued pistol.

Good price, decent design
These sights are a great option if you don't want to machine your slide for modern sight cuts. Just know that tenon sights can be a pain to install.
