Tough, durable firing pins are precision machined from extra-hard stainless steel to fit in the slide with .001' clearance to help eliminate “primer flow” with hot loads. Helps prevent jams and misfires caused by the primer backing out. Available in three diameters; select the diameter that provides just enough clearance through the hole in the firing pin stop of your gun. Fit may vary; measure your gun to be sure you select the correct size pin. SPECS: Stainless steel. Available in .068”, .075”, and .093” diameters.

.068 normally fits Colt and Caspian 9mm/.38 Super/.40/10mm.

.075 fits Springfield Armory 9mm/.38 Super/10mm/current-production .45 ACP

.093 fits most .45 ACP, including older-production Springfield.

For Over-size 1911's

Works those slides that occasionally come in to shop with over sized/eroded FP breech hole. Also can be fitted & used on those slides requiring tight FP's for shooting maximum loads when primer flow around firing pin & breech hole are a problem. Great for such applications. Does required fitting.

Fit well in my two Caspian slides.

Fit perfectly in one of my Caspian slides, the other I hit with a little fine grit emery cloth and no issues so far after about 1500rds between the two.

Best replacement firing pin for Kimbers

These firing pins for the 1911 45 ACP cannot be beat for those slides that have the GI dimensions (wider than Springfield Armory, and some others). In the case of Kimbers, they follow the GI sizing, these pins will create less clearance for blow-back helping to assure a safer gun.

Great for the NEW Detonics .45ACP

Except for the fact that the Post Office delivering my package to the wrong address this proved to be a perfect fit for a "New" Detonics .45ACP.
