1911 EXTREME SERVICE TRIGGER Reviews & Ratings

High-performance trigger is built for shooters who run their guns hard, yet want a precise, smooth, consistent trigger pull. Solid aluminum shoe gives a comfortable, natural finger position to help prevent uneven pressure that can compromise accuracy. Smooth, curved face with radiused edges won't abrade the finger, and a choice of shoe lengths lets you set a length of pull that concentrates the pull force on the centerline of the trigger. Shoe is permanently staked to a non-flex bow of hardened stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface that eliminates friction with the frame. Fixed, internal overtravel stop lets you set the precise amount of overtravel when you install the trigger, and won’t back out over time. Simply file the tip of the stop until it allows the sear nose to clear the hammer hooks and half-cock notch.

SPECS: Stainless steel bow, aluminum shoe, natural silver or black IonBond DLC finish. Shoe is .25" (6.4mm) wide. Length measured from middle of curve in shoe face to back of bow. 1911 – Short: 2.1" (5.3cm) long. Medium: 2.2" (5.6cm) long. Long: 2.25" (5.7cm) long.

Super tough trigger

Very straightforward and robust design, just a little bit of adjustment and you’ll never have to mess with it again. Bombproof. Very nice trigger surface smooth rounded. I’m setting up a plus P gun so I need something that can take a beating. Some other designs occasionally tend to “unjust themselves “ especially under plus P recoil , this design solve that problem.

Great smooth trigger

Bought one medium length for my Springfield trp, about 5 minutes with a flat file and it fit nice and snug , no wiggle. Shoots great and looks amazing. Will be buying another for my Colt .

Feels great. Looks Great. Mild fitting. Awesome on my springfield Garrison 45!

Works as advertised

Trigger inserted into a true 1911 frame with with only minor filing. Seems to work well, but I haven't taken it out on the range yet.

Great trigger

I installed this trigger in a SA mil spec I'm upgrading. The trigger requires fitting but it was easy to do so. It's a great way to keep the service trigger look while getting a longer trigger

Excellent

I installed this medium trigger on my Vbob to replace the long trigger that came stock. I was able to fit the trigger myself by patiently filing and polishing the top and bottom of the trigger evenly until it fit correctly. It was no where near drop on when I received it, which is fine and actually desirable in my opinion as I was able to remove material until I got a tight yet very smooth fit. In my opinion this trigger feels much more desirable to shoot than the factory long trigger.
