Does not fit...requires alteration..
This does not work in ANY of my mil-spec 1911s. It requires fitting/filing and is basically useless unless YOU can FIGURE out HOW to make it work. Drop-in this is not...stop lying! 3 1911s from three different MIL-SPEC manufacturers INCLUDING COLT says that WILSON is OFF, Go figuer.

DIDN'T WORK FOR ME
I bought two of these to use in a Para Ordnance P14 & P12 and they did not work for either pistol. I will look on Brownell's website to see if these parts are available specifically for the Paras.
3
Good Function- some assembly required.
Purchased for a Para Black Ops 1911; this part required filing to fit the slide rail. Works great now, significantly increases functionality and handling of 1911 handguns. Smart concept but be ready to do some smithing to make it work.

Works well, breaks easy
I have installed many of these for friends and customers, almost never require fitting. Only negative is that I have had 3 returns due to the "extended" tab breaking off. Left handed 1911 shooters like it so they can release the slide with trigger finger during mag change.
3
not bullet proof
I have had two of these on Springfield TRPs service pistols and broke both of them. Admittedly, it took a couple thousand rounds to break each one, but they still snapped off at the extended portion eventually. I'll still probably buy a third one, just because I really like being able to close the slide with my dominant thumb. The second one I got required fitting.

Better than OEM slide stop
I bought this for my Kimber CDP. It works much better then the OEM slide stop. I still have to loosen my grip and move my hand slightly to engage and disengage the slide stop. Grip interferes with contact of slide stop. But vast improvement over OEM. Haven't fired the gun yet to see if the slide locks after firing the last round.
