1911 ELITE TACTICAL MAGAZINES 9MM

1911 ELITE TACTICAL MAGAZINES 9MM Reviews & Ratings

Introducing The Wilson Combat Next Generation ETM-9mm 1911 magazines-Now Completely Redesigned for Enhanced Reliability

In the quest for flawless magazine function across a wide variety of custom and production handguns Bill Wilson has redesigned our Elite Tactical 9mm 1911 magazines to feed more smoothly, seat easier and lock back positively in a wider spectrum of guns than ever before. Our “Next Generation” ETM 9mm magazines have arrived and like other Wilson Combat Magazines will raise the bar for 1911 pistol reliability.

After months of intensive research and testing by Bill Wilson in a myriad of custom and factory 9mm 1911’s we believe we have solved the issue of magazine reliability in a single stack 9mm 1911. These Next Gen ETM magazines have a redesigned tube with a small front ramp to prevent nose down feeding with short or hollow point rounds.

A redesigned back spacer accommodates a wide variety of long-loaded ammunition and a stainless-steel follower and extra power spring ensure slide lockback even in guns with marginal or incorrectly fitted slide stops.

These are the finest magazines made for the 9mm 1911 platform and have been rigorously tested by our cadre of professional shooters. Bill Wilson himself has logged over 10,000 rounds of various factory and reloaded 9mm ammunition to develop these magazines which are suitable for competition or tactical use.

The Next Generation of 9mm 1911 reliability is available now.

My 1911 Mags
These mags are Wilson Combat mags, and I could not be happier with my purchase. I took them out the day they arrived, and they worked flawlessly. It is nice knowing that they will be around for a long time, too, since they are so well constructer. Also, Brownells sold them to me at a fair price and shipped them ASAP!

Wilsons Werk!
What can I say? Kimber mags don't slide-lock on empty, drop top two rounds, and cause stovepipes on my Ultra. Wilsons just Wer!

Best 10 rd. magazine Ive found for 9mm
These work very reliably and actually do hold 10 rounds in the three full size grip 9mm 1911s I own. I like the black finish because I prefer darker finish handguns and dont like the flash of stainless below the grip area. No complaints at all.

Yes, but the mag will extend past the bottom of the grip.

Base plate prevents mag from locking
This mag wouldn't lock into 2 different 1911 frames. It looks like the lip of the base plate is too tall, hitting the frame and preventing the mag from locking. I suppose you could try to remove some material from lip of base plate, but I just sent the mags back for refund. I certainly expected more from Wilson Combat.
