1911 CUSTOM SEAR SPRING

1911 CUSTOM SEAR SPRING Reviews & Ratings

Exclusive, 'split' center leg of spring keeps constant forward pressure on trigger to prevent ham-mer/sear notch damage (which can cause dangerous 'hammer follow') on guns equipped with lightened or 'traditional', custom trigger jobs. Allows hammer to stand cocked under most normal conditions and will not affect trigger break or pull. Can be used with lightweight triggers or Gold Cup-style hammers. SPECS: Blued steel, 2-13/16' (7.1cm) long, Ѕ' (12.7mm)
wide. Fits all models of Colt style 1911 Auto pistols.

Needed for a great 1911 trigger job.
These Clarke 4 leaf springs are the last piece in a great 1911 trigger job - makes it the safest with the dedicated sear spring.

BEST ON THE MARKET
This sear spring because it is the best on the market to be completely honest. There are three finger sears springs on the market which is more of your traditional sear spring and they don't give you as much adjustment as you would get out of a four finger. I think the materials used and the quality of the part are superb I am insanely happy with my purchase it would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really good sears spring.

Nice sear spring from Clark.
I like these springs because they keep constant pressure on the sear. When properly tuned, they do a great job.

Easy install
It took tuning and opening up a few times to get right. The use of a trigger weight gage would have made this a bit easier but I got it done. I had done a complete strip down and clean and lube. The hammer was following the slide after reassembly. The spring stopped that.

Good spring
These definitely allow a more problem free lighter trigger pull in a 1911. As with any of this type of part - they should be installed and adjusted by a competent pistol smith.

You can't beat the price or quality
I have been doing 1911 trigger jobs for over 50 years. These springs are some of the best quality I've see in many, many years. Consistent quality, work great and long lasting . The disconnect spring maintains constant pressure on it to make sure it returns to battery. Great idea! Wish I had thought of myself!

Excellent Upgrade
The Clark sear spring has become an automatic upgrade for my 1911's.

Will buy again for my other 1911s
Broke my tri-spring, ordered this for replacement, after some fitting works great and really like the disconnect/trigger split.
