Modern reproduction frame, following the same specifications as John Browning’s original design. Utilizing modern metallurgy, while maintaining the classic contours of the Classic 1911, these frames are the perfect platform for a new build. Original contours are adhered to, ensuring the closest match to the original frame as possible. Classic Frames are available in Carbon (CS). Frames on non-ramped and gunsmith fit is recommended.

SPECS: 4140 carbon steel (CS), in-the-white. Gunsmith fitting required. FFL required for purchase.

Looks great

Good frame to start with. Required some fitting and there was excess material on some surfaces that was heavily marked with tooling debris and flakes. Not a big deal just required deburring no more than ten minutes of extra work.

A bargain

Very nice frame, no burrs or flaws. Be advised, this frame WILL require fitting; the frame rails are oversized.
