Drop in fit
Easy drop in part replacement to standard blued slide stop on a Taurus PT1911 .45ACP. This change was purely a cosmetic upgrade for me and added to the other Wilson Combat upgrades I have already done.
Fixed my Les Baer!
Premium II 9mm Les Baer, the slide stop would not always lock back. Like all Les Baer items, they are hand fitted and mine was just a little off, rather than send it in which they would gladly fix, I dropped in this part and we have been 100%. Wife shot her LTC Instructors course with it the same day of installation without a hitch. If you have a slide stop issue, this bullet proof is a fast and reliable fix, I have a Colt, Les Baer and even an Ed Brown with this slide stop in it. Wish they made the paddle more traditional and not 90%
Worth it
Bought this one to replace the factory one in my Dan Wesson Valor SS. Nothing wrong with the factory one exactly, but the finger pad is larger and bulkier than I prefer. I've ran these WC ones before, and really prefer the smaller and slimmer pad. This one fit a little snug at first being brand new, but a little pressure and working it up and down and now it fits perfect. Had to file the top of the mag follower tab just slightly. It was just a hair oversized and hitting the top of the hole in the frame, preventing the slide catch tab from fully engaging the slide relief. No biggie, especially for a 1911 part. Personally, I love these slide releases and run them in all my 1911s. Worth the price.
**Semi-extended** BP SS slide stop
Ordered this for my Gold Cup Trophy ... even tho I've got big hands, I've always found that working the slide catch takes too much in-hand repo-ing to be really comfy, but I've never liked the feel (or look) of the really extended ones. Took a chance & special-ordered the Semi-extended Bullet Proof slide stop & am super pleased ... it's gives just the perfect (for me) extension and is -- moreover -- just beautifully designed: it just looks beautiful on the pistol. The finish is kind of a semi-shiny matte, which should fit in with many other guns' furnishings. (It was a special order thru Brownells, who did their usual really efficient work.)

I've been shooting 1911s since 1967. Over the years I've accumulated a collection of broken 1911 slide stops. Since they first became available when this has happened I've put in Wilson Bullet Proof slide stops, and I've never broken one of them. Additionally the shaft is close to .200 diameter and aids barrel fit and lock up. They're not MIM or cast or even forged but machined and then hardened. Several of my 1911s have several "Bullet Proof" parts in them.

Typical Wilson quality. I installed this on a Springfield RO and it dropped right in with absolutely no problems. Locks up perfectly and very positive during those accidental slide-lock reloads.
Best Slide Stop for your 1911
I bought this to replace my the factory slide stop on my Kimber TLEII. This one will never cause your slide to lock while cycling through a magazine. Very sleek on the gun as well. Fantastic product.
Great Product
Typical Wilson quality. Installed this in my Taurus 1911. Slide lock up and release are much better. Judging by the quality it will probably go in my next 1911 after I wear this one out. I highly recommend this product.
