Great magazine!

Just received two of these great magazines yesterday and just tried them in my RIA GI 1911. They work great! Lock back after the last round, loading and feeding is superb! My shooting includes weekly range shooting, shooting reloaded ammo, and range qualifications. In addition, I am an NRA instructor and work in the law enforcement field in forensics. I also recommended it to my good friend in Texas who also shoots, hunts etc. He had the same great experience I had.

Look no further.

Shot an IPSC 'fun shoot', followed by a USPSA Level 1 for the first time. Tested various equipment including my mags. McCormick Power Plus mags seated every time and dropped every time. A top-dollar Wilson Combat mag failed to eject twice before I i.d. it as 'the culprit', costing me valuable seconds. These are da schizer. Look no further.

I shoot 200gr lead swc. The mags work perfectly. I use them in ppc shooting and idpa and uspsa. Never had a problem.

i shoot 200gr semi wad cutter lead from a kimber. Never had a problem with the mags. Ive probably shot 1500 rounds now.

Exellent quality

Exellent McCormick quality once more! Shot several hundreds times with the mag, dropped several times and still functions perfectly.

Slide lockback problem

I purchased 2 magazines to use in my Colt O4860TXT lightweight Commander when I read about the new follower. Unfortunately, the Commander slide will not consistently lock back with these mags. I have tried multiple times with both FMJ and HP ammunition and had the same results. Last time at the range, they failed to work all four times I tried, 2 times with 8 rounds each and 2 times with 7 rounds each. All the other mags I have, Colt (Checkmate) and Wilson Combat ETM's work perfectly in the Commander. These mags do work properly in my Government 1991, locking the slide back everytime. The mags are well built, load easily, and seem to be a quality mag. I just wish they worked in the Commander.
