Function is indistinguishable from OEM
Purchased this as a spare mag for my 1911A1. Well made, solid magazine. Feels, loads, feeds and functions perfectly. The only difference is the color. I Will purchase again.

Work better than my OEM magazines.
These Mec-gar magazines worked very reliably right from the start. They load easily, strip smoothly and drop free. The metal body is polished and very smooth, maybe even coated with something. I use these magazines over the Colt ones for personal carry when reliability counts. My OEM Colt magazines hold the slide back with one or two rounds still left. I've been trying different springs with no luck. Note: When I robbed the springs and followers from the Mec-gar magazines, my Colt magazines ran well except I still can't get the 9th round in.

What You'd Expect
I bought a couple of these for my Remington R1 1911 blued Government model in .45 ACP. They work just as well as the factory magazines, and are cheaper, too. I plan on buying more. Nice bluing, too.

Work great
These mags come standard with Tisas pistols. After running several hundred rounds through the gun I never had a single FTF or any other issues. So, I bought some more and they all work fine in my growing collecting of Tisas guns.

NIce Mags!
I bought these for extra mags for a new SR1911 Commander. They functioned flawlessly. When looking back I thought I had bought ACT Mags because the follower is the same as the ACT Mag pic. Mec Gar shows a plastic follower. I prefer the no tilt metal follower so that's a good thing. These also have a steel base plate not the plastic shown in the pic. I've since tried to drill these to add pads and that is some tough metal. Well that or a bad drill bit. Overall I'm very satisfied with these mags. As always very satisfied with Brownells service. Thank you!

Great Magazine
I love these magazines. They came with my 1911 Desert Eagle. I have tried other magazines ( some twice the price or more) and these work the best without any problems. They are very well made and high quality. Easier to load than some other magazines and no sharp edges. Fit and finish are excellent. I can see why the Israeli manufacturer chose these magazines. Best buy especially for the price.

Great magazines
I've been using these mags in USPSA / IDPA for over three years. They've been dropped in puddles of water, mud, sand, gravel and stepped on. They never failed! I have around 15 of them and I will continue buying them.
